Opening · a quotation

This quote by M.L.K exemplifies what it means to be truly peaceful. As is said, 'peace based on injustice is a war in itself'

Body · points

This quote can be looked upon from following examples:

⊙ In the world, developed countries donot provide finance to developing world (loss & damage) → Though it may seem peaceful but not just. ⊙ In India, tribals are displaced for economic projects (47% of all as per expert committee) This is injust even though peaceful

On the other hand, peace which is based on justice can be seen as:

⊙ Nelson Mandela build Truth & Reconciliation Commission to built peace in South Africa based on forgiveness. ⊙ As compared to Versailles, Nuremberg trials led to peace that was based on prosecution of war crimes by Nazis.

This holds a lesson for India as follows:

⊙ Constitutional morality and cooperative federalism is way forward to solve disputes on justice.

Close · a way forward

This will ensure that peace in India is based on justice rather than the lack of it.
