⇒ Feminisation of work increases over time. This is assisted by acts like Indecent Representation of women (Prohibition) Act 1986 and sexual harassment of women at workplace (Prohibition) Act, 2013.
⇒ Increase in women literacy is due to legislative changes of Hindu Marriage Act rising girls marriage age.
However, still women faces challenges in new social media, pink collarisation in education, glass ceiling at workplace.
