H1^3 + H1^2 + energy -> He2^4 + energy

Advantages of nuclear fusion

  1. No nuclear waste generated
  2. Would lead to infinite & forever production of energy.
  3. Would avert the environmental problems
  4. Lead to greater development with equitability
  5. Lead to discovery in other scientific fields like cryo technology
  6. Sustainable grid all across the world.

Limitations of using nuclear fusion commercially

  1. Difficulty in achieving criticality
  2. The magnets required to seperate the plasma need a lot of energy.
  3. May be a hazard and could lead to huge explosions.
  4. Evacuation & transmission problems
  5. Low income countries may not be able to emulate the system.
  6. Risk of weaponisation by non state actors.
