The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs announces MSP for the crops the scheme covers: cereals (including barley and finger millet), pulses, oilseeds (including groundnut and sesamum) and a few commercial crops such as cotton and jute. Areca nut, coffee and turmeric are not covered by MSP. The list of items with MSP is therefore 2, 4, 5 and 6.
