Recently there was a proposal to translocate some of the lions from their natural habitat in Gujarat to which one of the following sites ?

The proposal was to translocate some Asiatic lions from Gir in Gujarat to the Kuno-Palpur Wildlife Sanctuary in Madhya Pradesh, so that the world's only wild population of Asiatic lions is not confined to a single place, where an epidemic or a disaster could wipe it out. The Supreme Court ordered the shift in 2013. Corbett, Mudumalai and Sariska were not the sites proposed for the lions.
