ASEAN's members are Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. China is a dialogue partner of ASEAN, not a member. Cambodia (1999) and Laos (1997) joined late, while the Philippines is a founding member of 1967, along with Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
