Panchsheel, the five principles of peaceful coexistence agreed between India and China in 1954, are mutual respect for each other's territorial integrity and sovereignty, mutual non-aggression, mutual non-interference in internal affairs, equality and mutual benefit, and peaceful coexistence. Non-alignment was India's wider foreign policy, but it is not one of the five.
