AnswerThe answer is (b).

IRS-P3, an Indian remote-sensing satellite, was launched by the PSLV from Sriharikota in March 1996. IRS-P2 had been launched in 1994 and IRS-1D followed in 1997, so those are not 1996 launches. Remember: IRS-P2 (1994), IRS-P3 (1996), IRS-1D (1997); all three flew on the PSLV.
