Body · continuous prose
Although it is important to blow whistle to reveal any wrong doing in the system but the intention guiding the blow of whistle must be moral. It must have intention of public interest in mind. Blowing of whistle shouldn't be done for fame, publicity or for creating troubles for others of the organisation.
It must not be pursued for settling any personal scores or as a revenge. It must not be guided by any narrow selfish interests. Otherwise the goodness of the act will not materialise.
We need to keep in mind that whistle can be blown only by a person privy to sensitive information or privy to secret works/dealings in an organisation. This underscores the fact that such powerful position is given to only trustworthy people and hence there is a responsibility associated with this power.
