AnswerUPSC’s answer is (a).
Tokenization turns ownership of real-world assets, such as real estate, bonds, gold or art, into digital tokens recorded on a blockchain (1). Because blockchains run continuously, tokenised assets can be traded 24 x 7, and fractional ownership lowers the entry cost, which promotes financial inclusion (2). It can also give individuals in India access to high-growth investment opportunities that were earlier out of reach (3). All three statements are accepted.
- 1. Tokenization turns real-world assets into blockchain tokens.
- 2. Round-the-clock trading and small units promote inclusion.
- 3. It opens high-growth investments to individuals in India.
