Pairs 1 and 2 are correct. Pandharpur lies on the Bhima, which is known there as the Chandrabhaga, and Tiruchirappalli lies on the Cauvery. Hampi stands on the Tungabhadra, not the Malaprabha, so pair 3 is wrong. The Malaprabha is a tributary of the Krishna and flows past places such as Aihole and Pattadakal.
