Mahatma Gandhi founded the Ahmedabad Textile Labour Association, a union of mill workers, after the Ahmedabad mill strike of 1918, in which he used fasting and negotiation. Anasuya Sarabhai was closely associated with it. Patel, N. M. Joshi and Kripalani were involved in other labour or political work, but the union is credited to Gandhi.

Why each option is right or wrong
  • (a) Right: Gandhi founded the Association.
