P. V. Narasimha Rao, Prime Minister when the Babri Masjid was demolished on 6 December 1992, wrote 'Ayodhya: 6 December 1992', his account of those events. It was published in 2006, after his death in 2004. Chandra Shekhar, Jaswant Singh and Arun Shourie wrote other books and are not its author.
