AnswerThe answer is (b).

Japan's Defense Agency was upgraded to a full Ministry of Defense in January 2007, after the Diet passed the law in December 2006. Italy, Switzerland and Poland already had defence ministries. The agency had been set up in 1954 under the Prime Minister's Office. Remember: Japan, 2007, agency to ministry.
